Naomi Campbell, born on May 22, 1970 is a British supermodel. Campbell was born in Streatham, London, England. Campbell is of Afro Jamaican descent with some Chinese ancestry; her paternal grandmother was Han Chinese. As a young child, Campbell was left in the care of a nanny while her mother travelled across Europe with the dance troupe Fantastica. Aged 10, she was accepted into the Italia Conti Academy stage school, where she studied ballet. |
